I was excited last night when I know that Tries+Diana was on list for blogging, it kept me awake until 3 AM. We have much story with Tries+Diana, Diana was my classmate in high school, coincidentally I witness how Diana grew up as a mature girl. We rarely made contact when we were in university, until she contacted me that she found Tries, a person that she wanted to spend rest of her life with.

 

Diana never changes, I can always notice a smile comes from her, she told everything with enthusiasm, like a girl told story to her mom after school hour. Tries, I see Tries as a complete person for Diana, he has everything that Diana needs, sense of protection, caring and a leader. Tries also has good sense of humor, and it made me really easy to connect with them both.

 

I couldn't lie to myself that I got the great feeling, even only for few hours, the wedding of Tries+Diana, bring back nostalgic side of high school era, we all gathered and celebrate the wedding. Tries comes from Batak family, that was why Tries+Diana had to hold the reception twice, traditional and modern. 

 

The morning preparation was fun, you can see below that Tries+Diana helped each other to get ready. But, I want to highlight the matrimony part, it was very emotional to us. Tries+Diana had great speech when they expressed gratitude to their parents, sometimes they had to pause, they couldn't hold the tears longer. Tries' father was in silent, he kept looked down as his son was struggling to finish the speech. Diana's mom and her older brother, Erick, felt the same way, they both dropped the happy tears when Diana hugged them. To be honest, this was one of most touching moments that we ever photographed. I saw also few friends and relatives were holding tissue in their hands. I felt my eyes were wet and I knew that our team shared the feeling.

 

We wish you a blessed marriage, Tries+Diana.

We were back again to Lampung! Every year we always have wonderful client in Lampung, yet that city is familiar for us now. After spending much fun in their prewedding, we got the honor to photograph their wedding. Helped by Sausalito Wedding Organizer, we survived the day.

 

It was really good to see Varo stood happily next to Handy, after tiring process and anxiety preparing the wedding, they finally made it. We flought twice to Lampung in two weeks and we saw what they did for it. Families and friend throwed big smile wholeday, we felt the joy around. Utmost hospitality when they took care of us was a booster for capturing moments. We simply thanked them.

 

Congratulation Handy+Varo, wishful blessing for your marriage. Make babies soon!

We knew them from wedding exhibition and from first impression, somehow we knew they are interesting couple. Introduce Our Amusing Friend, Aldion+Imelda. Aldion is wacky while Imelda always looks sweet, both perfect each other!

 

We went to Singapore for their prewedding, this time we brought fun, spontaneous with combination of formal nite scene. The plan first was to find new places in Singapore, as you know, many people now photograph their prewedding in Singapore. The challenge was clear, that was why we went earlier for couple days than our couple to find new spot. For photographers, new places give curiosity and energy, spirit to explore more.

 

The weather was unpredictable, especially in beach, but luckyly we managed to get it done before raining hard. First day is super tired, we finished the nite scene at 1 a.m. But, big applause for them, they still showed excitement on day 2.
